Shipping Policy
1. General
At Cacaogenot, we aim to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible. This Shipping Policy explains the terms that apply to the shipment of our products. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms set out below.
2. Order Processing
- Orders are generally processed within one business day after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed before 19:30 are usually shipped the same business day.
- Orders placed after this time will be shipped the next business day.
- No orders are shipped during weekends or Dutch public holidays.
3. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order. For example, shipping a package of approximately 500 g costs €6.30, while a package of approximately 1 kg costs €6.20.
- The exact shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout.
4. Shipping Methods
- We work with EVRi to ensure your order is delivered safely and on time.
- All parcels include a tracking number, which will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched.
5. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
- Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this number to track your parcel on the courier’s website.
- Please check your spam or junk folder if you have not received the confirmation email.
6. Undeliverable Packages
- If a parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was not collected in time from a pickup point, it may be returned to us. In that case, we will contact you to arrange a new shipment, which may be subject to additional shipping charges.
7. Damage and Loss During Shipping
- We pack our products with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. If you receive a damaged parcel, please contact us within 48 hours at customerservice@cacaogenot.nl and include photos of the damage and the packaging.
- If a parcel is confirmed lost by the courier, we will either issue a full refund or send a replacement product, depending on your preference.
8. International Customs and Import Duties
- For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping costs.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures in the destination country.
9. Changes to the Shipping Policy
Cacaogenot reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. We recommend reviewing this page regularly for updates. Any changes will take effect once they are published on our website.
